Woodlands Train Checkpoint to Singapore Zoo
- 7.00 am - Arrival at Woodlands train checkpoint from KL Sentral, Kuala Lumpur by train - RM 40 (or SGD 17) for sleeping berth (KTM Senandung Malam 11 pm)
- Immigration clearance
- Ride Bus 178 to Woodlands MRT station - SGD 1.30
- 8.15 am - Arrival at Woodlands MRT station
- Bought CEPAS card for use with MRT and public buses - SGD 12
- Ride MRT to Ang Mo Kio MRT station - SGD 1.50
- 9.00 am - Arrival at Ang Mo Kio MRT station
- Walk through an underpass to get to Ang Mo Kio bus interchange (opposite the road from the MRT station)
- Ride Bus 138 to Singapore Zoo - SGD 1.50

- 6.15 pm - Walk around Festival Walk, photo op at Universal Studios Singapore entrance

Songs of the Sea
- Walk to Waterfront station to take Sentosa Express to Beach station
- Turned in voucher bought online from AsiaTravel.com for tickets to Songs of the Sea at the counter near Waterfront station - SGD 10
- Ride Sentosa Express to Beach Station
- 7.30 pm - Arrival at Beach Station
- Managed to get a glimpse of the sunset before show
- Walk to Songs of the Sea entrance to watch 30 minute show

Clarke Quay
- Photo op around Beach station
- Ride Sentosa Express back to Vivo City mall
- Ride MRT from Harbourfront MRT station to Clarke Quay - SGD 1
- 9.00 pm - Arrival at Clarke Quay MRT station
- Walk to Clarke Quay from MRT station
- Walked around Clarke Quay and went for drinks at Crazy Elephant bar (San Miguel beer draft - SGD 10). Really enjoyed the live performance at the bar
- 11.30 pm - Went back to hostel

Hostel to Sentosa Island
- 7.30 am - Wake up and breakfast at the hostel
- Breakfast is complimentary coffee and toast provided by hostel
- Ride MRT to Harbourfront station - SGD 1
- 8.00 am - Arrival at Vivo City mall
- Ride Sentosa Express to Beach station from Vivo City - SGD 3
Palawan Beach
- 8.30 am - Arrival at Beach station
- No beach trams were operational during that time, so had to go on foot to Palawan beach
- Walked around Palawan beach and visited the islet
Universal Studios Singapore
Sentosa Island back to hostel
- 10.00 am - Ride beach tram back to Beach station - free of charge
- Ride Sentosa Express to Waterfront station
- 10.30 am - Arrival at Universal Studios Singapore entrance
- Turned in e-tickets which I bought during promotion from RWSentosa website at the ticket booth - SGD 64 (inclusive of SGD 10 shopping voucher)

Sentosa Island back to hostel
- 7.00 pm - Exit Universal Studios Singapore
- Ride Sentosa Express back to Vivo City, and MRT back to Clarke Quay - SGD 1
- Reloaded CEPAS card - SGD 10
- Walk back to hostel for quick shower and relaxation
CHIJMES
- 8.30 pm - Ride MRT to City Hall station (transit at Dhoby Ghaut) - SGD 0.80
- Walk to CHIJMES (under 10 minutes)
- 9.15 pm - Walked around CHIJMES and stopped for drinks at Insomnia bar (Corona beer - SGD 12)
- Enjoyed the live performance at the bar
- 11 pm - Ride MRT back to hostel - SGD 0.80

- 7.30 am - Wake up and breakfast at the hostel
- Ride MRT to Promenade station (transit at Dhoby Ghaut station) - SGD 1
- Walk to Singapore Flyer from Promenade station using directions given by the staff at the station
- 9.00 am - Arrival at Singapore Flyer
- Bought tickets for the 30 minute ride - SGD 33

Singapore Flyer to the Float & Esplanade
- 10.00 am - Quick photo stop at the Float and Esplanade. You get very good views of the Singapore city skyline from here
- Walked along Helix bridge to Marina Bay Sands complex

Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
- 11.00 am - Stopover for early lunch (Chicken rice - SGD 7 and leng chee kang - SGD 2)
- Some sightseeing around the mall, notable points of interest were the rain oculus and the canals

Gardens by the Bay
- 1 pm - Walk to Gardens by the Bay via the pedestrian walkway through Marina Bay Sands complex
- Photo stop at the outdoor gardens
- Paid for admission - SGD 28 for two conservatories (Flower Dome and Cloud Forest)

Gardens by the Bay to Merlion Park
- 4 pm - Walk back to Marina Bay Sands complex, via underpass to Bayfront MRT station
- Ride MRT to Raffles Place (transit at Marina Bay station) - SGD 0.80
- Walk to Merlion Park from Raffles Place station using given directions (under 15 minutes)
- 4.30 pm - Arrival at Merlion Park for photo op

Marina Bay Sands Skypark
- 5.30 pm - Walk back to Raffles Place station and ride MRT back to Bayfront station (transit at Marina Bay station) - SGD 0.80
- 6.00 pm - Arrival at Marina Bay Sands
- Went to Skypark ticketing counter to buy tickets - SGD 22
- Take elevator up to top floor to view sunset

Marina Bay Sands to Clarke Quay
- 7 pm - Take elevator down to Marina Bay Sands complex
- Went to the outdoor gardens at Gardens by the Bay for a night viewing of the super trees
- 7.45 pm - Went to Bayfront South fetty to purchase ferry tickets to Clarke Quay - SGD 18
- Watched Wonder Full, Light & Water Show at 8 pm - free of charge
- 8.30 pm - Ride ferry back to Clarke Quay
- 9.15 pm - Arrival at Clarke Quay and chili crab dinner at Jumbo Seafood - SGD 35 per person (pretty pricey but travel partner insisted)

Orchard Road
- 8 am - Wake up and quick shower
- 9 am - Check out from hostel
- Ride MRT to Orchard Road station (transit at Dhoby Ghaut station) - SGD 0.80
- 9.30 am - Walked around Orchard Road and visited notable shopping malls in the area - Wisma ATRIA and ION Orchard
- Breakfast at ION Orchard (coffee & sandwiches - SGD 4)
